I love this one - the way his feathering is all bound in that arm-wrap is awesome, and he's got the *greatest* face! So handsome, in a bad-attitude kind of way.
Thank you! Folks often comment that the feathering on the arms would get in the way of everything and the characters would likely shave them for convienience. However, I think they'd just find a way to wrap them up as the feathering on a Clydesdale is one of thier most beautiful asspects. I always say that Dalia wears hers pushed back with scrunchies whenever she needs to do something practicle.
I agree - why rid yourself of one of your more distinguishing features? Feathering is so very elegant - and can you imagine how lovely it must be while dancing or guesturing? ...Which reminds me: I AM going to draw you, soon as I produce a sketch worthy of being finished! I haven't gotten any good anthros out lately, for some reason.
Whee!!!! Fire art! I started a couple sketches of Fire too, but I'm having the same problem you are. None of my anthros are doing anything worth looking at these days.
Clydesdale! Hah.. I screamed when I saw this, holy crap it's beautiful. <.< -cough draft horse fetish cough- Just some CC, though.. I think he should be taller. He looks, somewhat out of proportion for a clydsdale. Otherwise.. Just beautiful.
Thank you! I loved this picture, and still do, when I created it, but looking back I can pick out TONS of flaws. I've picked up some men's fitness magazines and I'm attempting to teach myself male anatomy. I'll definately have to do more with this character. Thank you for the comments!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
